Welcome to Willow Bend Antiques, established in 1992 by Mary Woodruff. The antique store is located in a white pine Amish built barn that consists of three floors. In addition to the barn there is also three cottages of eclectic antiques. The cottages were once cabins on Blue Star Highway in Saugatuck and for many years were known as Tin Cricket Lodges
In 1998, I also began to collect and sell Garden Iron which consists of metal artwork such as Gazebos, many styles of arbors, trellises, planters, pottery suns and many other fun decorative items. Whether you are looking for Antiques or Garden iron you will surely be able to find something unique and creative at Willow Bend Antiques
I, Mary Woodruff, have collected antiques for the last thirty years. I have personally favored blue and white stoneware, unique pieces of furniture and many other unique items. My thirty years of loving antiques led me to collecting for myself which in turn left me with a great amount of antiques. My change in décor and taste throughout the years left me with an abundance of items which I began to sell and that is my antique business was born.
In the antique store and cottages you will find antique glassware, fireplace mantels from primitive to shabby, unique pieces of furniture, vintage clothing and accessories, newer fun items and many more items. The list is too numerous to mention, but it is a must see it to believe it. We have something for everyone's taste. I've been told that if you can't find it here, you are not going to find it anywhere!
Surrounding the antique store there is an acre of garden iron, all displayed off of pebble stone walk ways. In addition to the items mentioned previously there is also a wide variety of decorative pieces such has iron walls fixtures including lizards, turtles, butterflies and many more items that make beautiful additions to anyone's home or garden.
There are many iron pieces, once again to numerous to list, a person could spend hours searching my wide variety of art in search for the perfect piece for their home or garden. People are drawn to my store to witness my 300 plus Heavenly Blue Morning Glories that are in full bloom from July to October. Morning glories display themselves on many items around my antiques store and on many pieces of garden iron. Many people have bought the iron pieces to display their morning glories or their own favorite plants. A beautiful yard of garden iron and flowers will have all your friends envying your beautiful display.
